Indian tourism industry promotion Award

New movie “Life of Pi” which is based on a novel has released now and created a buzz about natural sceneries displayed in this movie. Govt. of India has announced National Tourism Award for its director Mr. Ang Lee and original novel creator Mr. Yann Martel.

This announcement would encourage new producer and director as well as experienced film makers to use the greatest locations of Indian natural regions in their movies. The main aim behind this announcement is to initiate promotion, more foreign movie shootings by foreign director and producers in India. As per Mr. Chiranjeevi, this award would be a regular practice in every year to those film makers in India as well as form abroad, who want to contribute in promoting India’s touring locations around the world.

This fact has been recognized by Indian Govt. that there is a need for an individual body or a cell that can take care of all kind of issues that are coming as huddle in organizing a shooting for domestic and international film makers. This Govt. body or cell would facilitate in film making process in all states as well as union territories. This has been noticed that movie’s location plays a great role in promoting any country’s tourism and creates hype in social media sites world wide

Indian Ministry of Tourism is all set with Ministry of Information & Broadcasting to promote Film media, as an important contributor in ‘Incredible India’ campaigning for Indian tourism industry. They have an intension of inviting more and more film makers to India to use India’s beautiful location in their movies, so that Indian tourism gets popular and more tourists get inspired and come to India for exploring more incredible location as promoting in campaign. Another objective can be achieved by the Govt. is establish more interaction and support among all states, and between states and central Govt. as a result taking a permission for shooting in different location would not be creating problem for film makers India. Thus India tourism and culture will get more attention among travelers around the world
